Carob, Tahini & Orange Bliss Balls Rolled in Spice Seed Mix
Amazingly light & nourishing these bliss balls are perfect little treat.
Baked with Love | Free from gluten, dairy, soy, egg, preservatives and refined sugar
1 cup of pepitas
1 cup of sunflower seeds
1/4 cup of linseeds
1/8 cup of coconut oil
1 teaspoon of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
15 modjul dates (pitted)
zest and juice of one orange
2 tablespoons of tahini
3 tablespoons of coconut oil
2 tablespoons of carob
2 cups of dry roasted almonds
In a mixing bowl add all seed mix ingredients and stir gently until well combined.
Place seed mix onto a lined baking tray and place in the oven on low heat for 45 mins. Check regularly to ensure the mixture doesn't start to burn.
Allow to cool
Blend 1/3 of a cup to roll your bliss balls in or use as a topping on your favourite salad, curry or cake
In a food processor blend all bliss ball ingredients together until well mixed and desired texture.
Work the mixture into balls using your hands. Having your hands slightly wet will help.
Roll the balls into the spiced seed mix.
